Affording an attorney might not be possible for everyone. But it should not stop you from representing yourself competently in court. Our Florida Lawsuit Form package is a complete guide with easy to use forms and templates. It will show you how to file a lawsuit yourself without an attorney!

If your lawsuit forms are not formatted correctly, they may be rejected by the court clerk! Lawsuitforms.org is the only website that offers state-specific form templates for filing a civil lawsuit. Most other websites sell overpriced, poor quality, generic forms that are NOT in compliance with state court rules.

After a complaint and answer have been filed, the next step in any civil lawsuit is to request relevant information about the case from the other party. This is primarily done by sending an official Request for Production of Documents (RFP). This instructional booklet will show you how to send and respond to RFPs in Florida County or Circuit Court. As with the complaint booklet, all these materials have been specifically designed for use in Florida and include:

  • A fully editable MS Word template for writing a request for production of documents.
  • A fully editable MS Word template for responding to a request for production of documents.
  • PDF versions of both RFP forms that you can print and fill out by hand if you do not want to use the MS Word version of the forms.

Was helpful with preparing for a state other than Florida . How to file a lawsuit

Was helpful with preparing for a state other than Florida. filing a lawsuit.

The Florida Lawsuit information will help you with for the following:
1) Small Claims Court Filings (<= $ 8,000),
2) County Court filings (<= $30,000) or
3) Circuit Court Filings (> $ 30,000).

The Florida Lawsuit information is very useful and detailed enough to fill out and file your own lawsuit claim. The forms are extremely helpful to document the correct legal terminology for most legal cases. I wished they expanded their package to explained and showed you how to file "Exhibits" (attachments) that can also be incorporated within your legal case file too.

I liked the Florida Lawsuit information pointer that stated in court, to provide the court with four copies when submitting any evidence or exhibits. These were key legal pointers you would not normally know about or think about.

The Florida Lawsuit information package does not show you have to file a motion (i.e., Motion to Dismiss, Motion to transfer to a higher court, Motion to suppress unlawful evidence, ETC.) with the court, so there are a few areas that I wish were expanded in this Florida Lawsuit information package.

Just FYI: Be sure to number every page and every paragraph in your case file before you go to the Court House to actually file your lawsuit
and keep very legible case file copy or copies too.

Easy to follow and comprehensive guide for FL

The civil lawsuit guide has step by step instructions on how to fill out the forms, examples to follow, and templates for you to fill in. It makes the process really easy! A glossary is also included to help make sense of all the legal terms, which I found really helpful.
